[ANN] Maven Jar Plug-in 1.7 released

We are pleased to announce the Maven Jar Plug-in 1.7 release!

Plugin for creating JAR files.

Changes in this version include:

  New Features:

o Added new property maven.jar.final.name. Issue: MPJAR-38.

  Fixed bugs:

o Fix typo on documentation. Issue: MPJAR-42. Thanks to Joseph Benavidez.
o Fix typo on documentation. Issue: MPJAR-40. Thanks to Shinobu Kawai.  

To automatically install the plugin, type the following on a single line:

maven plugin:download
  -Dmaven.repo.remote=http://www.ibiblio.org/maven, http://cvs.apache.org/repository/
  -DgroupId=maven
  -DartifactId=maven-jar-plugin
  -Dversion=1.7
